Posted 15th December 2011   Inside Sales Engineer - Melbourne Career Position   Motion Technologies is an Australian owned company providing unique electro-mechanical drive solutions to a diverse customer base.   We market a comprehensive range of products used in the design of turnkey engineered solutions for a wide variety of industrial and commercial drive systems such as rail, theatre, packaging, factory automation, mining and defence industries.   The position requires a skilled and motivated person to consult with potential customers at all levels of industry and government and to provide assistance with product selection, application advice and systems integration. Strong computer skills required, for example email, Microsoft word & excel and data base entry.   Duties include:   ·        Telephone sales ·        Purchasing ·        Stock control ·        Manufacture liaison ·        Overseas supplier liaison ·        Warehouse   The candidate should have, or be nearing completion, of a Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering. However this is not essential where strong industry experience in power transmission or factory automation can be demonstrated.   Applicant should be willing to satisfy customer enquiries in a skilled manner and have good English skills for verbal and written communications.
