ELAP Encoders

Rotary Encoders
All series are designed to be used in industrial environment, granting high performances for reading accuracy, repeatability, speed, shock and vibration resistance.
The different output signals allow to interface to any counting and control system.
Special versions can be engineered according to customers specifications.
Absolute Encoders
ELAP single and multiturn encoders provide:
- Reading resolution ranging from 4 to 13 bit, and 2 to 16 bit steps/revolution
- SSI, push-pull parallel, 0-10V analogues outputs
- Communication protocols: Ethernet/IP, EtherCAT, PROFINET, PROFIBUS, CANopen
Incremental Encoders
ELAP incremental encoders offer:
- Several different mechanical versions
- Number of ppr ranging from 2 to 50000
- Push pull or line driver electronic output

ELAP High Resolution Rotary Encoder

ELAP Encoder EtherCAT
ELAP Encoder EthatCAT are based on the industrial Ethernet communication protocol, the EtherCAT interface is steady, flexible and fast, therefore particularly suitable for communication between control systems and peripheral devices, such as I/O systems, drives, sensors and actuators. ELAP HPS Linear Wire Potentiometer
ELAP HPS Linear Wire Potentiometer consists of a rotary potentiometer operated by means of a wire-reel mechanism; the wire is out of stainless steel covered with nylon. The potentiometer provides an analogue signal proportional to the linear displacement of the wire. The inside spring controls the return of the wire to the starting position.

ELAP Linear Motion Potentiometers PL231 change mechanical linear moves into the corresponding electrical signals. ELAP PD/PE Incremental Linear Transducer
ELAP PD/PE Incremental Linear Transducer are widely employed on industrial operating machines, linear motion potentiometers are specially designed to measure and control linear displacements in absolute mode.
ELAP potentiometers range includes a variety of mechanical sizes and strokes to meet any application requirement: there are square or round section potentiometers, with different sizes and measuring strokes ranging from 25 to 950 mm. Different options are available for the connectors type.
All the types are designed for industrial applications, and offer excellent reading accuracy and repeatability, speed and resistance to shocks and vibrations.
The conductive plastic resistive element grants the potentiometers a long life, high independent linearity and virtually infinite resolution. The standard resistive value is 5 KOhm, but 10 KOhm is also available on request.
The mounting method – by steel brackets, ball joints or screw nut – is extremely easy.
Several fittings are available: ball joints, self-aligning joints, feeler pin and springs for the rod return.
All the potentiometers avail on a stout aluminium housing which ensures high protection against environmental agents, and makes them fit to severe applications, even outdoor.

ELAP Magnetic Transducer TM+MP200
ELAP Magnetic Transducer TM+MP200 is a measuring system composed by the magnetic transducer TM and the magnetic band MP200. The transducer works contactless, releaving the polarised fields of the magnetic band and converting the measure into digital signals. The system can be profitably employed in severe industrial environments, in presence of water, oil, grease. The mounting method is easy and cheap and the measure is accurate and repeatable.
